Bucky Whitehouse is the Emergency Services Director and Hazardous Materials Program Manager for Tooele County. He has worked for Tooele County for the past 17 years. Before moving into his role in Emergency Management, he was the Emergency Response Coordinator and Public Information Officer for the Health Department. In addition to his work for Tooele county, Bucky served as a past Fire Chief for the Tooele City Fire Department. He is also an adjunct faculty member with Utah State University at the Tooele Campus.

Bucky Received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992 and Masters of Science Degree in 1996 from Utah State University. He is currently certified as Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) in Emergency Management, Certified Public Manager (COM), Public Health Education Specialist (CHES), Environmental Health and Hazmat Technician and Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Bucky donates many volunteer hours throughout the Tooele Valley.

He has coached for over 20 years in various youth sports programs. Bucky’s favorite responsibility and greatest love is spending time with his wife and two children while enjoying the outdoors.
