Tooele County Emergency Management

                    Emergency Management

Welcome to the Tooele County Emergency Management Website. Hopefully you will find it useful in making your personal and family emergency preparedness plans. If there is anything you feel is missing from this site, feel free to contact us at 833-8100.

September is National Preparedness Month. Take some time this month to browse our website for helpful emergency preparedness tips. You can also follow the links found at the Links tab at left to check out other helpful websites, such as Ready.Gov.

As always, we want to encourage you to develop a Family Disaster Plan and begin storing emergency supplies such as food and water and a Disaster Supplies Kit. The information contained here will help you accomplish those tasks.

You may also refer to your 2010 Tooele County Emergency Preparedness Calendar you should have received in the mail. Additional copies are available at most county government offices. It’s important that you familiarize yourself with the information contained there. New this year are sections on the Special Needs Registry and Disaster Relief Efforts (volunteering and making donations).

You may also test your protective action knowledge by taking the “Stay or Go, Do You Know?” challenge attached here. For your convenience, we’ve also attached a printable copy of the Family Emergency Preparedness Guide. Just follow the links at the right.

Thanks for stopping by. Good luck with all of your emergency preparedness efforts.
